The notion of service to society has somehow been misplaced with the desire for power. That is what I believe is wrong with politics these days. Perhaps I am idealistic but I believe that our elected representatives are there to represent the interests of their constituency and not their own or friends, however defined, interests.

Nothing that has not been wrong with it for the past several hundred. I would never trust anybody who WANTED to be a politician. You just know they were a milk monitor at school, and probably bullied.

It's become a popularity contest. And they need to increase the voting age. I remember, several, SEVERAL years ago, Brooke Sheilds was 18years old and said she was going to vote for candidate XYZ because "He's cute" . Now, I ask you, did she have any business voting?

we a bunch of old white men who dont even remember their names or shoot their own friends in the face "accidently" making the country decisions
