I was rejected by blue cross, because of my medical history which includes one 2 day hospital stay. does anyone have any tips on how to get accepted. do i have to give all my info?
please help

You give only what info is asked for..and there are Insurance companies that accept people no matter their medical history..

as long as the problem is not pre existing they should still accept you. it also depends on the kind of bcbs you are applying for. if it is a individual policy that will make it harder for you. and it is more expensive than a group policy. and the individual coverage is so picky, a common cold is considered pre existing I tried to get it too and they would not accept me because of type 2 diabetes. If you can afford it look into cobra it is great and it pays for all pre or not. the individual dental is horrible you have to have it for one year before you can use it. but maybe if you were hospitalized and it is not a serious illness. that should not be a problem. at least that is what I was told. but I could not get it. good luck to you
