They even enclosed a check for $2,380.00 to cash and send back to them for the 50,000.00 prize. This is a spoof right. Check looks real. What is the catch I know there is one. Anyone out there had anything happen to them similar to this?

It should say somewhere in fine print what the catch is. If it doesn't, it's a hardcore scam. It actually sounds a bit like money laundering. Usually, by cashing the check you are agreeing to something.

Otherwise, it's just your basic scam. Lots of scams coming out of Canada these days.

Look up scams on the internet and I bet you'll find your benefactor or someone like it.
