From what I've seen of Bordeaux, I think the French should ban them instead.

Advertising alcohol within French municiple stadia is against the law. This has caused some interesting situations in football but most notably in rugby where the European Cup known around Europe as the Heineken Cup in France is known as the H Cup. When Wales played rugby in Paris two seasons ago instead of having their sponsor "Brains" which is a Cardiff based brewery they instead had the word BRAWN in a similar typefont.

They don't allow alcohol advertising in French football stadiums.
Unfortunately,nobobody told Budweiser that when they signed a contract with FIFA.Hence,no Budweiser advertising in the stadiums during the 1998 World Cup.

Yea I noticed that, (also how small Craig Bellamy is lol that alone standing next to Peter Crouch) But it is because it is illegal to advertise beer etc in football in France...
Carlsberg clearly made football teams lol!!

Already answered - The French dont alloe Alcohol or Cigarette sponserships in sports - F1 follow the same princible as Ferrari,Renault and Mclaren replaced their back wings

Because there is a ban on such advertising in France.It would be a good thing over here too.And for that matter ban gambling websites and AIG.
