No, why should you feel guilty? You are providing that cat with a good home right? Yes I know there are several good cats at the pound that need good homes, but you need to think of it this way. By adopting your cat, that leaves an empty spot for another cat that won't die because it was able to be in a no-kill shelter and get a good home.

All of my animals have come from either a no-kill shelter or the pound, and really there is no difference, other than I think the animals at a no kill shelter are loved and cared for more, just because they aren't getting new animals by the hundreds a day. Thats not to say animals from the pound aren't as good as any other animal.

Nah, don't feel guilty. At least you didn't go out a buy a kitten.

Some no-kill shelters work with their local pounds to take animals that are next in line to .... so maybe even though you adopted from the shelter, it might've opened up a space for them to take one from the pound?

No. You gave the cat a home, that's sweet. I don't believe in killing animals in an animal shelter, but if they are never adopted and put to sleep, that's far better than them dying from starvation, while walking the streets, trying to find their next meal.

No you shouldn't feel guilty because you still adopted a cat rather than buy one from a pet store. I give you props for adopting!

Its a physically powerful ingredient what you probably did. in case you're able to desire to convey them to the shield i would not be too disillusioned. I artwork at a shield in Arizona and the animals are okay cared for, a minimum of the only i artwork at. they are taken out of they are cages a pair of cases an afternoon to stroll around and to be held by utilising workers. additionally they are greater probable to be accompanied from there becasue greater human beings could bypass there than you in simple terms attempting to discover them a house. i in my opinion wish i helped
