Why did many different cultures develop in North Amercia?

You have it backwards. Many, many different cultures came here, and developed this country.

Start with the native Americans. Add to that, the Spanish, the British, the French, Dutch and the African.

Soon, following, the Irish, Germmans Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and many more, since.

Mix them up in a pot so large that it has many different climates and terrains, from snow capped mountains to hot, dry deserts. Fom rocky clifftops to pounding oceans, from crowded city streets to hot, damp rainforests.

What would you expect would come out?

The people, in North America, migrated from somewhere else. Not a single race of people is indigenous to North America. They bring their respective cultures with them. New cultures begin to grow out of the mixed cultures. Does that answer your question?

North American had a moderate climate good for crops and survival. Once people saw potentail they moved there. People have been moving to N.America for centuries which allowed for the creation of various cultures.

that's why America is refered to as the melting pot . . people came here from all over the world to make a life for themselves and thier families. They brought thier culture with them . . .

beacause when the europeans liedt to the natives, and stole their, it was though to be unhibited, and virgin land, and gold meant nothing in value to the natives, the white started marching on stealing land from the people, and calling it their own, stakes land wherever they pleased, even if it was already someone elses.
