There are a variety of jobs out there that you could do at fourteen and younger. Jobs vary but many different kinds can be found for fourteen year olds. The simplest of which could be going door to door and mowing peoples lawn, shovelling snow. Jobs vary with the season. These of course are not the only jobs that fourteen year olds or younger can do.
When you turn fourteen you are usually allowed to work at an appropriate video store or some other store that is a big company. Bigger companies like Shop rite or Blockbuster usually want people who are older. So the best thing to do is to go and find a small store like a little coffee shop and ask if you may work their. You should also get papers from your school so that you are allowed to do these jobs.
PS It would be much appreciated if you gave out the Best Answers award. I don't mind if you dont give one to me but it would be much appreciated

Yeah, that's the problem with Michigan labor laws, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. All you can really do is cut lawns, shovel snow, rake leaves, offer to do odd jobs for neighbors... you probably could try to apply at Meijer as a cart-pusher because usually they're desperate and could give you a few weekend hours, but even they might not be able to skirt the employment laws.

Try babysitting, delivering newspapers -- those are probably the only types of jobs a 14-year-old can get.
