What is with all these people automatically saying dump the guy? Here is what I think. Your boyfriend may not realize he is taking you for granted. My boyfriend and I went though the same thing. We go through it occasionally because sometimes when you are with someone for so long you tend to start to take them for granted. You probably won't realize it but your partner will. The key to working through this is communication. My boyfriend and I wouldn't be celebrating our 3 year anniversary tomorrow if we didn't communicate. Talk to him. Tell him how you feel. Try not to sound like you are accusing him of anything or get upset or angry. Just talk calmly and collected. That is the best way I found to communicate with my boyfriend. They tend to clam up and get defensive if they think you are "attacking" him. He may not even realize he is making you feel like that. Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

Oh Boy! I wish I new the secret. The only thing I can suggest is not to give in too easily to him. Make him work at the relationship. Don't give in to his every need. Take some time for yourself. If you are more independant, he`ll eventually respond. Show him that you have other interests besides just him.

ignore him or get rid of him and he'll realize what he's missing. If not, it wasn't meant to be.
I think relationships should flow and not be full of heartache and sadness.
If you have to worry or you feel like he's not treating you right, get out.

I would stay around for another 2weeks to 3weeks let him know it's bothering you. If he don't care leave him.

Tell him that you don't feel appreciated. Give specific examples. If he isn't at least willing to try to get better, leave. You deserve to be happy and if he can't provide that it's his problem.
