My friend overdosed and I don't know what to do or what to say to make he feel better and like everything is going to be alright because she overdosed with her friend and her friend ditched her and somehow they are still friends and I don't like her friend, but I am trying to get along with her anyways. But her friend got sent away and I don't know how to comfort her

If she overdosed, ther is a big problem. You can't help her... She needs professional intervention.... If she is from a uncaring family get her to a social institution where she can get free help.
I wouldn't worry about her so called friend. If you are a real friend you wouldn't over dose with a friend, you would stop them, any way you could. She sounds very confused with her life... help her find the right direction... she can't see it.. Go to a counsellor with her and don't ask too many questions...
You can't make her feel better, so act normal and talk to her the way you always did. You are okay , it is her that has the problem..
If you are sappy and mushy she will get angry at you for feeling sorry for her... Take action and help her with your inner strength and friendship.....

You asked a lot of questions.
The best thing you can do for your friend is be a sober and kind role model for her. Tell her you want her to know you care, and that she can tell you anything she wants and you won't tell. (DO NOT TELL-unless she is suicidal) Let her talk to you and you just LISTEN!
You cannot make your friend stay out of drugs or be responsible, but you CAN show her how to have fun without being on drugs-with you!
You can't be her therapist, but if she needs a friend to talk to, that could be you. If she sounds nutty, ask her to talk to her doctor about that. You are not qualified to help her there and you might do more harm.
Don't say ONE word good or bad about her friend. Eventually she might get back with her old friend and YOU will be OUT if you do!
If you are nice and kind, she might be able to see that you are a better choice for her.
I'm proud of you for trying to help your friend. Drugs kill futures!

Tell her if she needs someone to talk to you are there for her. Let her know that she has a friend in you. Sometimes just listening to someone means the world to them.

Just letting her know that you are there for her anytime she needs you is a good way to start.

Let her come to you. If you try and push the subject she might just push you away..

You should try to convince her that she needs help.
