Growing up respectably in a relatively abnormal and lawless society!!

this past year I've watched the high school in which my children attend totally demoralized in the media as well as on the streets. i choose to keep my kids there because of the opportunities i felt the would get as oppossed to sending them else where. i've one daughter who graduated third in her class, and my second daughter is on the same path. my daughter joined the band a saginaw high 4 years ago. it's always been a good band, but in the past 4years i watched it grow into one of the most popular bands in the state. i just wanted to know if this would be a human interest story worth telling.
