Well, the goal was partially Puyol's fault but if you see the whole match, he did some good tackles especially in the second half, when he almost saved the result a couple of times and I don't think he was that bad. Deco yeah he was terrible but I think the worst was the one who had the major responsibilities and who should be the leader of the team and unfortunately it isn't just this match: It was Ronaldinho. I know you want to defend him but you can't justify he was absent in the pitch most of the times. He didn't do a decent dribble or trick. Carvalho and Boulharouz took him the ball several times. He didn't shoot and mostly preferred to hide somewhere on the pitch or get the ball and do a simple pass. Too far from his fame...

They were both bad. But Puyol did have something to add to the game in the second half. Deco did absolutely nothing. So I choose him.

puyol obviously messed up when he let drogba's goal go past him. messi and deco did ok but below par, but i think the worst player was ronaldinho. while drogba sizzled with that amazing goal, ronaldinho simply fizzled out. he was unrecognizable out there. and to make things worse, chelsea's third choice gk proved to be far from third rate.
overall, chelsea didn't win bec. they played strong. they won bec. barca played weak. v. disappointing game.

I think Ronaldinho is way better than he played today. By the way, how many teams make it out of each group and how many matches does each team play?
