For instance, if someone posts the question: What's your favorite soda? If you don't drink soda, why answer? IT DOES NOT PERTAIN TO YOU! {and watch...when I post this question someone will answer saying I'm rude or some mumbo-jumbo about respecting other people's feelings ):}

People want to get the "points" rather than give actual advice. It is rather annoying. And I don't think you are being rude at all.

i kinda wondered the same thing. maybe they are people who really care about the whole point thing and it's an easy non-thinking 2 points? maybe they think they are funny?
