I am a huge fan of Kevin Smith! Mallrats is my favorite movie by him and by anyone else! He has a gift of writing dialog that is believable. It's like if you were in a situation such as Chasing Amy with Holden McNeil you would say and do probably the same things he did when he found out about Alyssa's shady past. I would say that my favorites list is: Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Dogma, Clerks II and then Clerks. I look forward to purchasing Clerks II on DVD and to also watching An Evening With Kevin Smith. Kevin Smith is my favorite director! That's it!

Ali Larter become born whilst Kevin Smith become 5 years previous. So, no. "Alison Elizabeth Larter (born February 28, 1976) is an American actress and previous style kind." "Kevin Patrick Smith (born August 2, 1970) is an American screenwriter, action picture director, and the founding father of View Askew Productions."

Yes he's great. I saw this movie of him talking to college campus all over the country about movies. It's so funny seeing him start a story talking to the students of NYU and than they cut to him telling the same story to the students of UCLA. The two funnies part of the movie are when he talks about trying to get Prince let him use one of his songs for "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back" and when he is telling the story of how he meet his wife. The movie is called "An Evening With Kevin Smith". They are also coming out with "An Evening With Kevin Smith 2 - Evening Harder". Any fan of Kevin Smith should get it.

Having actually worked in a small convenience store and a strange fast food restaurant, I can easily relate to Clerks 1&2
Both of which almost perfectly described a typical day for my coworkers and myself.

I am. I found out who he was when somebody recommended Dogma to me (back in 1999). A year or so later I checked out Clerks and I enjoyed it.

No way - Endless, meaningless dialogue that goes nowhere. Plastic characters with attitudes. An ending with no message, leaving you feeling empty (esp. in the wallet).
Kevin Smith = Waste of time
