i'm searching for a guy i met in 78', i've gone the usual routes w/ no luck, any ideas?

his initials are C.L., i met him in North Bay, ON, he was visiting his relatives (i believe) during march break of 1978-- at the time i was living w/ my aunt & uncle, (this uncle is french and his name is maurice--his name might jog a memory)---i was much younger than C.L. thought i was, but that did not prevent me from 'falling in love'... he left and i never saw or heard from him again... i would like to find him as he was never far in my mind... how are you doing..how has life treated you, are you married... --questions to ease the wondering -- you know?--i recall him saying he was from ottawa, i now live here and have been searching, but to no avail...
