Why is your friend's sexual preference YOUR concern??

It shouldn't matter if they were gay or not. If they are, and they trust you enough as a friend not to out them or hate them, they will tell you when they are ready.
If they never tell you, then they either don't trust you, or they aren't gay.
DON"T ASK THEM!!!!!!! That is the worst advice ever! You many lost a friend permanently, as well as cause major friction with your other friends.

Just be aware of the body language that they give off when you talk to them. Or if he/she seems really turned around when someone of the same sex walks by etc. Don't worry if their gay you will find out sooner or later cause they are going to slip up eventually.

well im not sure how you can tell but if that person is really your friend you should be able to ask he or she if their sraigth /gay or what ever you want to now cuz there your friend

Well the sure fire way to tell if your friend is gay is to have them tell you, and until they are comfortable doing so I don't think their sexual preference is any of your business.

You can tell if someone is gay, well most people. Just watch thier actions or just ask them flat out, that would be the most honest thing to do.

Simple: Just go somewhere with them and make a safe environment for them.
Say that you need to ask them something and say that it's ok if they tell you or not and you're not going to judge them and then ask them.
IF they do end up coming out to you, make sure you thank them for telling you and ensure that their secret is safe with you.

well I have a gay friend and he does really act like it....but dont start to think that untill you know its true....and dont always lisent to what your friends say it is not always right :)
