The best time to take your flu shot should be about now. Check with CVS Pharmacies or your doctor to see if one's available. You can get sick from it. My brother did a couple years ago. If you're allergic to eggs, don't take it.

Typically no...however getting the shot doesn't mean you won't get the flu, because the shot doesn't immunize you against all strains (just whatever one(s) predicted to be an issue that particular year).

This is flu shot time now (the Fall). I got mine last week...any time in the next few weeks would be good...if you're going to do it, go ahead and get it before you become exposed to someone who gets sick with the flu....

when you get the flu shot, they are actually injecting you with the flu virus. what that does is help your body to build an immunity to the virus. i know it makes no sense, but yes you can get sick from the flu shot.

I have mine about October, I have not had it yet this year as I have a bit of a cold (they wont do it if you are suffering with a cold)
You will not get ill but as it is made from eggs, you are not allowed to leave for 10 minutes after you have it, in case you react badly to it.
Hope this helps.
