That will be impossible, you cannot reach the edge of the universe, you will only see more and more universes at the edge, that is a concept a little too large for our little brain to understand, so let's just stick to the word infinite.

MY GOD!

With answers like these no wonder we can't launch even a toy rocket!

And I thought the 60's were bad!

What are you people smoking?

There is no edge, film, string, infinity, or any of that stuff.

You don't return to your point of origin either.

You just keep going and going and going and going.

Behind you will be all the stars, in front of you the blackest darkness any living thing have ever seen.

In theory of course.

The heavens (shamayim) of our Creator where he resides must be very vast. Our Universe is really a small dot of creation.

So to reach The outside of the Universe where Paradise exists. The soul and spirit must travel a lot faster than the speed of light to get there.
Though space structure of Our Universe is in the order of 10^27 meters of radius of gyration its mass can be concentrated at about 2 meter cube in volume.
The big bang theory postulated it as the volume of a golf ball. I believe my estimate is more realistic.

What you would see outside the edge of the Universe if you could perceive it would be none other that our Creator's Domain.

Besides the fact that you would need to travel faster than light for much longer than you will be alive for, you would see nothing because there is nothing beyond the universe.

As far as science concerns there is no end of the universe. There are horizons though. When you are at the horizon (if you could), you'd probably see another horizon, and when you reach that one you'd see another, and another, and another, etc.
A really nice site about the universe:

According to string theory (the latest theory being bounced around by physicists), there would be a very thin membrane, and on the other side would be a parallel universe.
