What's the best, weirdest, funniest or worst 'handy hints' or 'tips' you've ever read in any of these types of mags?
My friends and I have a competition between ourselves to find the naffest ones and text them to each other!

Full House magazine:
"I like to exfoliate regularly but the scrubs in the shops are a tad pricey. I took a handful of cat litter, crushed it up with a rolling pin, and rubbed it all over my body in the shower. It left my skin soft and cost next to nothing."

To thoroughly clean the spyhole in your door, use a cotton bud.
To open a stiff jar of jam sprinkle it with salt, put in the freezer for 10 minutes and then try. It will open with ease.

This is a genuine one, not out of the viz! To remove greasy stains from wallpaper, rub with a slice of bread, sparkling walls in no time! Oh f**k off!
