Both bad answers. Well aside from the obvious, they are made by different companies, the Core 2 Duo uses Intel's new core microarchitecture, which is much faster than anything else available right now. speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!. some people said AMD is faster, i think is almost the same . AMD 64 works in 64mb proccessors. intel works in 32mb proccessors,because they works at 64mb theyare supposed to be faster
