yes, there was, and a very major one at that. It was on Friday the 13th and there was atleast 20 inches of snow. Hundreds of thousands lost power, and schools were shut down as well as many major roads.
I went to college in Buffalo a while back, but never saw a storm of this magnitude so early in the season. November, yes, but October?? Maybe a dusting at most.

Heck ya! It's all over the news. I'm glad it wasn't me...wow. You're just hearing of this now? FEMA was FINALLY there today. Took them long enough. I feel really bad for all of them.
