Great Britain has had an ongoing treaty with Portugal since the 1200s. That is a world record for formal peaceful relations.

There are many many other countries that Britain has never warred with or against, but I think you are alluding to Portugal.

England adopted a colonial foreign policy for the better part of 4 centuries and at its height, the British Crown governed 1/3 of the world.
Understandably, the list of countries England has had military confrontations with is bigger than the list of countries has NOT fought against.
If it is any consolation, the U.S has taken over as the new Imperialistic regime in the world right now. Everyone can stop blaming the English for everything now!
