absolute value is the distance from zero... so since distance can not be negitive no matter what goes inside, you get a possitive output.

Since |x| = x
Then x is any positive number, or zero.
Unless there is more to the problem that you forgot to include.

I think the answer is just X cause if it were |-X|=? it would be just X but since it is not a negitive it would be just X
