Do you suspect something of someone in particular? That would be your business, not mine. Homosexuality is a universal human phenomenon or condition. So, why would they be the exception? I think it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to find out. Amish live by the Bible and it is written, both in Old and New Testaments, that homosexuality is abomination to the Lord. Therefore, if there would be any sexual attraction to the same sex, they would surely take it to the grave and not manifest it publicly. They will marry and have children in an apparent straight manhood in obedience to the Holy Scriptures, no doubt. I cannot give a direct answer because I don't know any Amish men.

Well the guy who said he was Amish very well could be Amish if he is a young man during his "rumschpringe", and not yet a baptized member of the church. Amish people can use computers just as much as anyone else. Maybe he lives in a district that allows modern conveniences.

There may be Amish people who are gay, but they will never come out of the closet about it because it would be out of context with their religious belief. If they do come out of the closet, they would most likely be shunned, depending on the "ordnung" that they are under.

Most likely. But they probably have to be undercover about it. You would not think that you would find it in the Priesthood, but that is the most prevalent place you can find it. Sorry catholics! I did not mean any disrespect. I am just trying to make a point, that you can find gay people anywhere.

Is the sky blue? Is it blue in Pennsylvania? Chances are there is an equal representation of homosexuality in the Amish communities.

If they're like the rest of the world, probably about 1-3% of the males are homosexual.
