We are going to Mexico in February. From experience, which is the best city and resort to stay in? We've been to Akumal, but were thinking of Playa del Carmen...somewhere south of Cancun a bit.

Two years ago we went to the Bahia Principe Tulum. We also went in Feb. We had the best time at that resort!!!
Go to Debbies Carribean review website and you can look at poeples pics from the resort. I would go back again in a heartbeat! Have fun!!!

There are several options actually. Unfortunately though I could list a few, but they all have there differences. I would need to ask you further questions to determine which I felt you would be most happy with.
I just wouldn't be doing you a favor though to list them though. Because one property that is great for your friends, might not be for you or vice versa. Everyone travels different.
