Im trying out for a play and I need to sing 16 to 20 bars of a song....Any Suggestions?????

I like On My Own from Les Miz, something from Wicked would be good - since the two leads have different ranges. I personally like Defying Gravity.

It depends on what kind of voice you have. There is a sheet music collection that has books devoted specifically to people's ranges (Tenor, Soprano, Alto, etc.) It contains a nice collection of Broadway songs ranging from dramatic to comedic, I recommend www.sheetmusicplus.com or www.amazon.com to find it. I don't sing but one of my friends has used his "Male - Tenor" book for quite a few auditions and another friend used the "Female - Soprano" book to get accepted into college. Break a leg!
