Rage against No Child Left Behind which only serves to dummy down the school system. The only children who can greatly benefit from No Child Left Behind is the special needs children. Make the parents responsible with fine and/or imprisonment. Do not accept no from a child regarding his work. Do not let the child be socially promoted without being placed in a highly structured at-risk program. Fill the after-school time with organized activities, strict study times, and limited computer-fun and television. Never let a child leave the house unless he goes to a specific place for a specific activity and returns home at a specific time. Make sure that after school time is strictly monitored. Oh, my, there is so much to do and so few of us who really care. Good luck!

try telling the parents to get off their butts,cause if you start helping street kids without all the proper legal bull in order you could be sued or even worse,so take care

i fear in our environments most dont take proper stands on the issues it would be people like you who would start help go to head board members and start asking for help
