John Elway by far, he is the only QB that always had a chance to win a game, even without a good team. All the times when the Broncos went to the Super Bowl, except the last 2, the Broncos weren't a good team. Elway was the one who took them there. Montana was good but he had a very good team behind him. Same with Marino.

Favre or Elway has got to be up there along with Marino but the numbers of Kurt Warner are not bad. He was one of the top in the league when he was winning the Superbowl for St Louis. His career numbers are good and he has a ring so he can't be far off top 5.

John Elway--Great passer and knew when to run and when not to unlike many of today's running QB's that take off at the drop of a hat. Also, I wouldn't want any other QB if my team was behind with less than 2 minutes to go in a game!! Finally, he was a true team player and understood that he wouldn't have accomplished anything without his offensive line, RB's, or WR's.

If I owned an NFL team and could have any QB that's ever played I would take Joe Montana. My second choice would Brett Favre. Both have a way of getting it done when it counts.
