Did the planets align yesturday, sorry if align is spelled wrong. My friend told me they did and to make wishes and stuff, which i did. But if they were aligned are they still aligned today?

No, the planets were not aligned.
I heard about something being special about yesterday, but it's all a bunch of non-scientific nonsense, right up there with astrology.

The planets may have aligned, but it won't do much for you either way here on Earth. People think that the alignment of the planets must have some sort of cosmic significance. It doesn't.
The gravity exerted on you by a planet in this solar system is less than the pull that your neighbor's car exerts on you. But have you ever heard anyone claim that you must be a born leader because your neighbor drives a buick?
