normally i'd just wear my skinny jeans with a black top etc. but i don't want to appear too sheep like. i want to look different but how? (bear in mind this is for thursday and most clothes in my wardrobe are emo/grunge

I also like to wear jeans when I dress down with a nice top and heels. If you wear uniforms everyday dress up for a change instead of wearing jeans. Put on slacks and a blouse for a change. Either way I'm quite sure you still will be cute.

I have the same kind of wardrobe but what I did on my own clothes day was to get a long cardigan and put that over skinnies with a big belt over that. it looks quite good if you like that kind of look, finished off with some beads as a necklace and dolly shoes.

Just wear what you would at the weekend.
I think pumps, skinny jeans, oversized jumper with belt is a good look if you have any of those. If you tend to tie your hair back then leave it down, etc is a good way of being different.

if not u could always wear a boob tube and hot pants although it may be a bit chilly so perhaps some tights with that x

find an outfit that you feel comfortable in and looks good, but isn't the same as the one you wore last non-uniform day.
