safe bet, but WVU and Louisville will still have a hard time with their weak s.o.s., the computers do not respect teams that beat up bad teams all year with little competition, if an sec team ends with one lose they will probably have a better chance than an undefeated big east team

I doubt that west virginia or Louisville makes the big game.Even though theres a pretty good Chance that the winner between the 2 will probably go undefeated.I still think one of them is gonna be 3 or 4.I believe that Michigan will make the Big Game. Then it's either going to be OSU (even though they lose they will lose to the number 2 team in the country so they drop to 2 or 3 and we go to 1st).Or it's going to be Auburn or Texas.
And I agree with you...there is no way USC goes undefeated with that schedule.Especially when all those teams are in a row.

No way the WVU/UL winner, even if they go undefeated, will make the BCS title game.
Why? Weak schedules compared to the better conferences than the Big East.
The 6 computer polls the BCS all take into account strength of schedule.

No way. WVU and Louisville will not make it higher than 4 unless one of the other undefeated teams gets beat. With the lack of strength in the Big East and the weak non-conf. schedule of WVU they don't have a chance to go higher than that.
Being from WV I really don't want them to play for the Nat. Championship. Who wants to get humiliated in a game that big in front of the entire nation? not me.

Louisville is a shell of what they were when they had Bush. They should have lost to cincy at home. West Virginia is a good team but OSU Michigan and USC would crush them.
USC's schedule is what will get them in the title game. Strength of Schedule is now in and they are playing 3rd and 4th stringers in some key positions due to terrible injuries. The bcs championship game;
OSU v.s. USC.

the way the BS device works, as long as the two are undefeated, you would be maximum appropriate. the great East winner has no agency being in the BCS Championship game yet with the device we've, in the event that they proceed to be undefeated, that's what we are going to get. i desire it comes all the way down to the winner of the OSU/Mich. game and a gaggle of a million loss communities. Then we are going to get to make certain how screwed up this technique quite is. If it does come all the way down to a gaggle of a million loss communities there could in basic terms be 2 logical options. The loser of the OSU/Mich. game or Texas. those may be the only 2 communities whose a million loss could be to the #a million team in the country. of direction, the BCS has in no way been accused of being logical. Hook'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no your not right because if osu michigan is a close game, and if that is the only loss for the loser, they likely will go to the championship because lets say Michigan loses a close one. THey'd likely drop to around 5. However they have a much harder schedule than west virginia, and if their only loss is to the clear cut number 1 team chances are they could still make it to the BCS championship game.

If there's justice in this world, the BCS Championship game with be a rematch of the Big Ten powerhouses, Michigan and Ohio State. Sorry, fans of other conferences, this year we deserve a lock on it.

Don't forget about Notre Dame. If they win the rest of their games including beating an undefeated USC game at the end of the season they will get a lot of consideration.

Sorry
No Big East team because of strength of schedule.
USC loses to Cal and Notre Dame, so they're out.
It's either Ohio St. and Michigan again or the winner of Ohio St/Michigan and Auburn or Texas.

Only if USC loses for WVU. And if Louisville wants in, they'll probably need Auburn and Texas to lose again too.
