The french don't allow advertising for tobacco or booze on tv (or could be sponsership) F1 had some problems with this a while back

the french dont advertise beer or tobacco. if you saw the franch f1 or a1 all the cars are stripped of the logos too

advertisment for alcohol is being banned now from most things . even if it still was there the bloody colour of the strip would stop you seeing it lol

It's illegal in France to advertise alcohol in connection with sporting events - Carlsberg would therefore be illegal.

because you can't advertise alcohol in france but the hineken ad was quite obvious.
