competency is about evidence. You are the only source of this. Once you get down to it you may surprise yourself with how many of the questions you cover. e.g.

"Competency 73: performs well under pressure"

A: "While working in the XYZ industry... deadline... team members not getting on with each other... I took A and B aside individually... informal chat... focus... we got the thingy to the printers on time and made £zillions from it"

Doesn't all have to be fireworks. But
- tick every box that needs ticked
- always use real examples
- every example should have everyone in it cast in a positive light; there should be no villains
- keep confidential info confidential; be vague about specifics. They will understand what you're doing and be glad of it.

good luck!

Include any volunteer work, any community service. Do not be afraid to "sell" yourself. Tell your prospective employer that you have confidence in yourself. Seek free job application information from CareerBuilder.com
