how uncomfortable are thongs and are they worth the attention since guys only see them when.. well you know! What are the most comfortable for a woman to wear?

It depends on the thong, the make, and the woman.
And yeah, they can be worth the attention because if you get a pair of ill fitting undies, it's gonna be uncomfy. There are 3 reasons women wear thongs.
1) Avoid lines from underwear.
2) To feel sexy.
3) They're planning on having sex.
The most comfortable thongs depend on the woman. Some women like a smaller one, some don't. There's also g-strings to take into account.
Some women just go without underwear too, you know.

real answer: A true thong is a T back with more material connecting above the butt area, a string bikini, which is what some people consider a thong is truly not. They are made with connecting cord like strings. The true thong (t-back) is much more comfortable than the string. The actual fabric that it is made from makes a big differnce also, Good Question

I personally don't wear thongs, unless I have on my hip hugging jeans or a skirt/dress that is of thin material. To me, when I wear my hip hugging jeans, sometimes wearing a thong can be uncomfortable. I prefer bikini's.

It's not a matter of attention seeking it's mainly about comfort. They are all pretty comfy but there are so many different styles to chose from.
If you are shopping for a gift, you may want to chose something sexy but make sure you get the right size.

thongs are VERY uncomfortable they are like you have a wedgy all day long although then making ya booty look good they do a fabulous job!
most comfortable - for me I'd have to say the bikini shape ones

ewww i think thongs are wrong for girls let alone a guy. i say no to the thong because if you ever try one on you will find that it is like a peice of dental floss up you butt. i don't know this from experience by the way. oh by the way you are really cute

I like wearing thongs, because they don't press into your butt flesh... I like the ones made of cotton and a bit of elastic fabric. They are really comfy, you don't feel them all day!

Once you wear them for a little while, they are like not wearing anything at all! Very comfortable. I cant STAND to wear full undies now!

they are comfortable, we dont feel them, just llive normal underwear only you cant see them through clothes, which is mostly why we wear them...not for attention. i have to say Victoria's secret are most comfortable and worth the expense. hope that helps!
