I have a beard also, but I hate being recognized at Halloween. One year I put toether a Phantom of the opera costume, but didn't like my identity being so easy. (My beard is striped, very recognizable) So I first covered my head with a black sack (cut out eye holes) and then put on the phantom mask. It went over very well.
