Yes he should, Set up one night something special and romantic for just you two, buy something nice to wear for him, make it special for you two.
as for your daughter, just tell that daddy and you just need to alone time, she should understand.
if you wanna go on a little getaway for a week, leave you daughter with the baby sitter or a close friend
