as an employee of gamestop, it is november 19th. all gamestops took reserves on friday of last week and sold out the same day. ps3 is november 17 and reserves were taken on last tuesday and at my store we sold out in one and a half minutes.

The following are release dates for the Wii:
November 19 -- North America
December 2 -- Japan
December 7 -- Australia and New Zealand
December 8 -- Europe
It will be about $250 (US) dollars at launch. If you want it on the release date, I would recommend pre-ordering it at a video game store since it seems that the popularity is very high, so your local store might run out.
Everyone that is saying November 17 is confusing the Wii launch date with the Playstation 3 launch date.

Either November 17, or November 19. My best guess would be the 19th. I can't wait to play it.
