Does he take certain medications or vitamins that make his breath bad? I would just tell him, maybe he doesn't realize. It's really an easy fix.

My mom went through this with my dad. He had horrible breath, cuz he smoked a lot. People would come to my mother and tell her, and she'd tell him.
Anyway, have your husband use his toothbrush more often, or change it every so often. Have him use mouthwash frequently. Buy him breath mints or gum, and put some in his pockets. Everywhere he has a pocket, in his suit jackets, pants pockets, wallet, etc., put some mints or the gum in there. Get him some of those toothbrushers that he can use on his finger for in between brushings. Get him some flossers.
Above all, get him to a dentist so the dentist can see what's going on in there. He may have gastro-intestinal problems, or he may have gingivitis, or he may have periodontitis. Whatever the problem, the dentist will have a solution. Good luck.

Is this breath thing new? Is he a diabetic? If he is he should see his doctor, he could be heading for trouble with his sugar level. If your marriage is built on honesty, it means good or bad. Talk to him. He's going to start to think you are seeing someone else because you are not returning his kisses. It could be a dental problem too. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and work in a big hospital, these things are nothing to mess with.

My bf had the same problem until he went to the dentist and had some teeth pulled.
Unless he just doesn't take care of his mouth he probably has an infection. Get him to the dentist.
Until then buy mouthwash and try not to be rude about it but just ask him to brush his teeth and rinse before he kisses you. I was able to just look at my man and say "hunny...i love ya but your breath stinks...." he never took it personally.. he would go brush and rinse and come back and kiss me.

One of the best parts of being married is just being a friend. Find the right moment to tell him and offer him a few suggestions such as seeing his physician perhaps he has a stomach ulcer or maybe a dental related problem. Also you may want to observe his eating habits. What ever you do don't give up" I am sure he loves you very much as well.

Oh dear!!!
You could try letting him know about this......but very gently or encourage him to make a trip to the dentist.
Sometimes ginivitis can make this happen.
You could tell him in a concerning way, not a horrible, insensitive
way...don't say,, "I can't kiss you these days cause your breath is foul".
Try buying him a new toothbrush or mouth cleanser.
Use it yourself and say something like, "Wow, this really makes my mouth feel clean". Don't push it on to him!
Check what he is eating too.
Switch to garlic capsules if he is eating garlic for heatlh reasons.
Try cooking non-spicy foods.
Speak to your own dr. or pharmacist for some good products he can use.
Be gentle and loving. Remember telling someone something as delicate as this could hurt their feelings and they may never want to kiss you again.
good luck!
ps chewing gum helps!!

Sounds like he could have gum disease. Tell him to see a dentist for a cleaning and check up. In the meantime offer a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash and floss and tell him to get busy. Does he smoke? That can cause bad breath too. Good Luck!

He has got dental caries! thats why his breath is "unfriendly". Tell him to go to his dentist before the caries expand in size! And do give him a kiss once in a while but give him a mint first! he will secretly wonder why you dont kiss anymore and get worried that you have another man.

How about communication, it really works wonders. Don't be mean or hurt his feelings, just tell him that you noticed a slight breath problem. It might be something he needs to see a dentist about.
