The only time I iron my jeans and t-shirts is if they have a big noticeable wrinkle in them. And I mean the big crease going all the way down the pant leg or across the whole shirt. I'm careful about folding my clean jeans and t-shirt so I don't have any wrinkles and to avoid ironing.

No, it is not normal. At least not to me. My ex-boyfriend does this. He irons his jeans. I take mine out of dryer and fold them, then hang them up or fold them on a shelf (have too many pairs). It is odd to iron jeans. Why? And why is it guys that seem to do it most. You know how cowboys are with their starched jeans, they stand by themselves when they take them off. It's weird!!

I'm no fashion aficionado, but I think that ironing jeans is akin to starching a bathing suit. Relax!! Its a casual piece of clothing, and you should be able to enjoy it hot out of the dryer.

i only iron my jeans when the seem a little stiff, as far as t-shirts if there wrinkled i would iron them out a little.. but I don't make it out to be an all the time thing!
But if he expects you do it always it sounds like a controlling thing!... your not his mommy, your his WIFE, thats a bigggg difference!

You can iron t shirts and jeans if they are wrinkly. There not just for dress clothes so I would have to agree with your husband on this one.

wanting your clothes to be ironed is not strange at all. there is nothing wrong with wanting to look neat. I wash and iron all of my clothes every Sat morning so when i want to go out my clothes are ready to wear.

My grandma does it, but mine are wrinkle-free enough for me just taking them out of the dryer and hanging them right away. Of course you don't get the pressed look with this, but that's okay for me. It's probably because it's what he grew up with.......I think most older people do it and most younger people wouldn't dream of it. :)

If he wants them ironed, let him do it himself. I knew a man once who ironed all of that, but he did it himself, he wasn't rude enough to ask someone else to do it!
What I'm saying is... it's one thing for you to wash his clothes if you're washing... but to expect you to go that far over and above is pushing it a little. Of course, you could do it to be nice... but... then if he wants you to do that to be nice, he needs to be doing something equally time-consuming, boring, nasty, and fun-sucking for you. =)
