Call the gas company, a furnace repair person or call your local fire department one of the cute fireman can come over and light your furnace.

To be safe, you should call the Gas Company, they should do it for free - if you cannot wait simply light the pilot with one of those candle lighters

what you need to do is find the "piolt light" and turn and hold down the knob and there should be some instructions on the panel u took off to get to the piolet light and find out where to put the lighter. hope this helps!

I use one of the barbecue lighters with a long end to it. The ones made by Scripto are excellent by the way. I have several at home.
