my aunts hhusband is in prison, he just went in but she needs to divorce him, he would spend all her money so now she has basicly none. where can she get the cheapest divorce at? we are in san diego, ca

If she is unable to do the paperwork herself, a paralegal would be the next cheapest alternative. It would depend on how savvy she is, and how much property or children are involved. The forms are usually available from the clerk of court, and she just fills in the blank (and get a friend, or you, to go over it, to make sure she didn't leave out ANYthing!) Then she files it with the court and they have to serve him.
If she can do it on her own, that's the least expensive. Good luck to you.

lol, no I dot think so. The best thing to do would be to go and speak with a lawyer on the matter. They could give you the most accurate prices and best advice. I know that if there are no kids involved, then it sohould be relatively cheap

You will have to call around and find out who will do it the cheapest for you. Seems to me that legal aide would help you.Try them at least.

i got my divorce myself, i went to the library and got the book how to do your own divorce..hope this helps
