Love is a profound feeling of tender affection for or intense attraction to another. It is considered a deep, ineffable feeling shared in passionate or intimate interpersonal relationships. However, in different contexts, the word love has a variety of related but distinct meanings: in addition to romantic love, which is characterized by a mix of emotional and sexual desire, other forms include Platonic love, religious love, familial love, and the more casual application of the term to anyone or anything that one considers strongly pleasurable, enjoyable, or desirable, including activities and foods. This diverse range of meanings in a single word is commonly contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for love, reflecting the word's versatility and complexity.
Although clearly and consistently defining love is a difficult task, and often a subject of much debate, different aspects of the word can be clarified by determining what isn't "love". As a general expression of positive sentiment (a stronger form of like), love is commonly contrasted with hate (or neutral apathy); as a less sexual and more "pure" form of romantic attachment, love is commonly contrasted with lust; and as an interpersonal relationship with romantic overtones, love is commonly contrasted with friendship, though other definitions of the word love may be applied to close friendships in certain contexts.

Love is a word that expresses what in truth is limitless. The Native Americans didn't have a word for love because they thought to name something was to limit it and I believe they were right. So love is more than anything we can think of and everything that is.
Love is more than sex. Love is the little things and the big things. Love is the giving and the receiving. Love is this incredible things that we can barely fathom and which is so fragile. It can be lost so easily with the senseless selfish act of one to another. Love is a dream made real and is one of the few things that I am proud to say that I will never fully understand.

I think you are setting yourself up somewhat for failure in asking 'Men... what is love to you'.
Men are as different from one another as women, so you can't categorize or generalize them. There are probably some differences though between men and women, which is debatable but...
Of course MOST men value physical love very much. But sex is not really enough (better then nothing), but knowing that she WANTS it too and enjoys the experience together.
Most men value supportive partners. Men problems are often not discussed, but it is really good to have someone around who is positive and supportive.
How does a man know he is loved? It depends on the man, as it does with women.
Some need to hear it, i.e. I love you.
Some need to see it i.e. a present or doing something for him.
Some need to feel it i.e. caresses, kisses.
Try 'em and see how your man reacts!

Love is giving your all and putting your spouses needs before yours. It is an expression and emotional feeling that can create the most ephoric feeling in the world and more pain than ever imagined. Love is hope, caring, sharing, giving enjoying and living gods soul through your own soul and then passing that love on to your kids, lover, parents ect.
Love is the greatest gift in the greatest gift LIFE
It should be cherished , coddled, given, remembered and lived everyday of our life.

To me "Love" is when that person's happiness is more important than your own. When you do the little things to make life easier for her because you want to help as much as possible. Love is when you miss her when she walks out of the room. It is when you know you are not complete without her in your life. Love is when you know she is a part of yourself. You are so intertwined that you cannot separate her from you.
