Is she eating lots of fruit? This can make her stools runny. The baby I look after does a poo at least three times a day, so I wouldn't worry about how often she does it. Give her banana and eggs, this can make stools harder.

I don't know if this will mean anything or not, but when I eat bananas I get diarrhea and the same goes with those regular iron supplements. I agree with the post above about it being an allergy. Maybe your baby is allergic to bananas. I was allergic to black bananas when I was younger and might be still.

could it be possible she was suffering from piles?? ( could explain the blood satined nappie) as for the runny stools i agree with the earlier answer saying she could have lactose intolerance or an allergic reaction to something, my nephew suffered something similar, it turned out he was allergic to certain food colourings and eggs. hope she gets well soon xxxxx

You could try taking her off of dairy products for a while to see if it helps. Use soya milk instead.
Lactose intolerance can cause very loose and smelly soils.

Not sure about the blood though.
Consult with your doctor before you try anything.

my little girl has runny nappies and she is 9 months old, do you give her alot of fruit?? i found that giving my little girl things like biscuits and savoury foods made her stools get harder it can sometimes mean there is too much acids in her fruit shes eating and its too strong for her little stomach to handle.

It could be a number of things. Just wait on the doctors to figure out what's wrong:)
