I am currently attending SUNY Old Westbury college in New York. My girlfriend goes to Hoftsra University. After visiting her there, I fell in love with the college. I never knew a college could be so beautiful. After this semester, I want to transfer to Hofstra but I think my girlfriend will be mad at me. She will think I am copying her. What should I do?

Think seriously before you transfer. The college may be beautiful, but that is what you see, you don't know what is behind the walls! It may not meet up to your expectations. As far as your girl friend, talk to her. I would think she would be thrilled to have you in the same college, if you are close. Maybe she likes having the space between the two of you. You need to respect that. Anyway, talk to her and listen to what she tells you. Take care and what every college you end up in, study hard and choose a career that you will be passionate about.

If your girlfriend is going to be mad because you want to be with her -- then you need a new girlfriend.

Worry about your own education -- not about what others might think.

ask her how she would feel about it. if she doesn't like it, but you really want to go to hoftsra she can get over it if it makes you happy. go to the school for the degree program not the look of the campus or your girlfriend. it would bite if you got a poor education and lost your woman.

Why would she be mad? Is she hiding something? If its a college that you want to go to...then go! Dont let anyone hold you back!
