how many women here had a period through your first trimester or longer? I believe I might be pregnant I have had two abnormal periods and I want to take the test but I don't want to be disappointed if it's nothing, becuase the first one I took was negative. I have had sore boobs for the last 4 or 5 weeks? any suggestions?

It is possible but not likely. Some women do experience bleeding and it is normally different from their usual periods. (most of these women also tend to have really heavy normal periods) If you think you may be pregnant by a cheap pregnacy test at walmart or walgreens. Don't waste too much money on it so you don't feel like it is such a big deal. Go home and do the test right away (if you really are two months pregnant it should register positive without your morning urine) Don't (i repeat) don't watch the test for the results to show. Go away for a minute or two and then look at it... if the first one was negative you are probably not pregnant, so look at it that way. You are less likely to be disapointed if that is the answer you expected. If your not pregnant your body may just be having hormone problems which can make your boobs hurt. If it doesnt go away in the next month or so talk to your doctor. Best of luck to you

Take the test. It's not uncommon to have period-like bleeding when you're pregnant. Sore boobs and abnormal periods could definitely mean you're pregnant...

You might be and some women dont produce enough hormone to be detected by pg tests. If you take another one and it comes up negative . But you still think you are. I would see your ob/gyn and see about gettign a blood pg test done.

Also ask your doctor about the signs of a phantom pregnancy.

I would go ahead and take the test. It is possible to have some spotting during your first trimester, but a full-blown period is less likely. Best of luck to you!!!

you should see a doctor. You need to find out for sure, because if you are pregnant, there are a lot of lifestyle changes you need to make for your baby's health.
