Do research on the places in your area that offer it. Ask to talk to clients they've had. Like anything else, you can find good and bad service providers. Make sure whomever you choose is known for doing good work.
I've known a few ppl that had it done (in past years) and they were happy with it. I've considered it and may yet do it (it's not a high financial priority right now). I'd like eyeliner and eyebrows done for sure...maybe some cheek tint...would be great to wake up every morning and not have to think about putting on makeup. :) (even though I don't wear much to begin with)

My sister had her eyebrows done. They look terrific. She paid 400.00 in Omaha.
My friend had eye/lip liner done in Austin. 700.00. Looks good. It does fade so the first few weeks it will be dark. The healing process takes a couple weeks.
Find someone reputable!!! Get references. You don't won't infection or a botched job.
Also, my sister was told that some ink has metal in it so you would not be able to ever have an MRI, CT scan etc. Again, find someone that knows what they are doing.

I paid $250 for it and it HURT like the dickens, I wanted to back out,but I also had a bad reaction to the paint they used, I ended up missing about a week of work over it, so it was a bad experience, I think it looks good though and I had it done over 2 yrs ago.

Lots of people do it. It depends and the results can never be removed so it looks bad after 15 years.

I have not personally had it done, but my mom has. Her and my dad were having dinner in a restaurant one night and my dad noticed that she only had one eyebrow! He, being the wonderful man that he is, didn't say anything but on her next birthday bought her an eyebrow tattoo. She absolutely loves it. It looks natural and she said there was minimal pain. Sorry, but I don't know how much it was.

I've heard a lot about this procedure but wouldn't do it. I like to be able to change my eye makeup often. If it were tattooed on me, it would get old really quick!

It isn't a good idea. I've seen some tattooed makeup and it looks too phoney. I wouldn't let anyone near my eyes with needles.

Saw something on TV where a woman had permanent eyeliner done and the doc totally botched it up and she was awarded thousands in damages for the irreversible damage.
I say stay away from it !

My friend got eye liner put on and now it looks grey and washed out that she has to put black eyeliner on top of it. She also said it hurts like a itch. I would not recommend getting it done.
