Remember what happened when the xbox 360 came out? Expect the same thing to happen with the ps3. There will only be 400,000 shipped on launch day, against millions of playstation fanatics. You might have better luck with the wii, but even those pre-orders are all sold out. Might as well wait until a game worth having comes out for it anyway (i.e metal gear solid 4, final fantasy xiii)

good luck with that one! even if you are an early camper, don;t even think you'll be luck y to get one off the shelf. pre orders are the only way to even remotely land a chance of getting one. as they always do, they will produce limited numbers of ps3's just in time for the christmas rush. if you still can get a prebook then do it. I don't think they're taking them just yet however they should be soon I believe. you stand a better chance of getting a Wii or a 360 than you will a PS3. if you havent got a prebook and you don't want to pay ebay prices like those other morons do, expect to get one around april of next year at the earliest.

The truth is it won't be easy since most stores are all ready sold out and aren't accepting any more preorders but not all of them. Also Best Buy isn't doing preorders. You can check in game stops cause i know they still hhave some preorders left!!!
