Where black children, and elderly, were beatin, raped, hung, shot..all in Alabama. How about the government at the time..We were nothing but animals to those CERTAIN white folks.
Do we not owe it to our Mothers, Fathers and grand parents to be the best we can be. TO rise above it all, not kill one another. Imagine wanting to cross a stateline and National Guard troops are ordered to shoot you. Men with Confederate flags call you animal and beat your mother in front of you while you watch. Then without MEDIA coverage they ravage and rob your homes rape you kin and kill you loved ones....
What makes people think we can just MOVE ON from this.
Granted there are many white folks that stood with us. Many differnt races of people stood with us during civil rights.
So how now can people say that was the past. How many of YOU over the age of 45-50 were taught algebra and are black?

more to come on this...

Those who remember the history are less likely to repeat those same horrible mistakes. USA will never forget because it has become the richest country in the world on the backs of slaves. Dark history, lets never forget it. Thats why we honor Martin Luther King.....great man. Rosa Parks, great woman.

Well your opening sentence is countered by the two words of your next sentence (Why then?) It makes it to be that your point is to counter the first sentence which makes it sound like you ARE saying all white people are bad.

That's why you are not going to get true feedback.

People think we can move on from this because that is the core of American belief. Its the same reason we walked away from the near slaughter of all the native people who we kicked off land. We did the same things you argue in your statement to lots of people, animals and even other whites.

It is not justified nor is it a descent moral to pass down, but it started a long time ago

dude, you can't generalize. I'm the most UN bias person on this subject you'll ever talk too because I'm mulatto. are you trying to imply all white people are bad? racism goes both ways. and no i can't deny that as a whole white people kill more then anybody, but not all white people. and people don't forget. I'm 22, I've studied enough to never forget.
what's the alternative to MOVING on? killing all the white people? do 2 wrongs make a right? seriously. and for a reason, it all boils down too the fact that we are merely products of our environment. plain and simple.
