I've been through the same thing. You don't want to flat out stop talking to her (in case she's unstable-also, that'd be mean) so just gradually let go. Like, with my friend, she would call every day and email and text and it would be almost ALL day. I just ignored some calls, was short with a text, returned emails a couple days later. Eventually she'll get the hint.

Shes just being her self its not like your going to be a kid forever you know.
But Friendship is pretty strong if you tell someone i dont want to be friends or stop being a kid and act like a adult those friends will be saying o sorry and walk away making you feel terrible
Maybe she just doesnt want to let go of those memories
Pretty much why not just let it go and say " i'm sorry will you please stop talking about those things its not like i am saying to shut up i just think its not the right time to talk about that"
Something like that
But be nice dont act like it bring some courage from you tell the truth because friendship is a great thing to have.

You could just stop calling her... don't avoid her if she calls, but just act the way you want to act... if she's boring, then just be bored, you don't have to pretend like you're her friend if you really don't want to be... don't be rude, don't make a huge scene about it, just kind of fade out of the relationship... eventually she might get bored with you since you don't seem to have fun when hanging out with her... just seems like a natural thing to do, stay nice to her, but don't pretend ^_^

She is probably just being herself. It is going to hurt her if she really thinks that ya'll are friends. Bottom line: If you don't want to be friends anymore then why worry about hurting her. If you just don't want to hang out with her, then that's easy enough, just become very busy. Too busy to hang out!

Try doing something different, like a new hobby or take a class.
And when she calls tell her you are busy, and wont be a lie. Also
doing something new will give you the chance to meet new people.

Yes I agree with the first answerer - be too busy. Don't call her, don't go anywhere with her, and if she calls, keep your conversations extremely short and never call her back. To be honest, she doesn't sound like someone who would be sensitive enough to notice.
