I am buying a second hand sofa at the weekend for my new house, all my friends are busy so I'm going to have to struggle lifting it on my own, anyway, my new neighbour who is a psychiatrist said that if I ever needed a hand he would be glad to help, do you think asking him to lift a heavy sofa would be a bit too cheeky?

I think asking him to help is just mental mate, u need your head testing. perhaps you had problems as a child.

Nope. You probably just don't want top be involved in a really deep, committed relationship at this point in your life. You are looking for fun, sexual thrills, and a challenge to prove that you are desirable. You could turn on your charm with a guy your age, but it would probably lead to a relationship. I'm guessing the older men you like are married? It probably wouldn't be so hot to be lusted after by a single older man who is looking for lover, right? A married older man can satisfy your sexual fantasies without pressuring you to get into a complicated, committed relationship. Maybe someday your goals will change and your will want a more steady partner who is at the same stage in life as you, and your sexual desires will follow suit. It happens. But for now, I say enjoy your freedom and the power of being a hot young thing. :)

There is no harm in asking If he does not want to help he will just say no, but it is advisable to get help lifting an item like that otherwise you might end up as one of his patients! He would think your mad trying to lift it on your own

Okay in one question, you said something about a girlfriend being hooked by your fish hook, and then you asked about your wife? So what is it? I think you just need to ask this guy for help period with your life.

Nice spin, but seriously, ask him for help. Be kind enough to compensate him for his effort by either returning a favor for him, inviting him to dinner or so on.

Yes. Never turn down offers of help even if they are not specific. If he doesn't he must be a "couch potato" !!
