Hi.. I was browsing around trying to find internships for next summer. I'm a history/political science major and was wondering about some resources. Any ideas?

I suggest check out the think tanks in Washington DC as they always have summer internships. This is a great place to network with people who shares your political persuasion

Some sites worth checking are

http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/wh-intern.html (internships for White House are very competitive)
http://www.dcinternships.org/
http://www.heritage.org/About/Internships/

Depends on what you want to do. The National Park Service hires a lot of people during the summer and they're always looking for volunteers. The amount of compensation that they offer volunteers can vary widely from one park to another and only a few parks can provide housing. However, there are many parks that pertain to presidents and other political figures, so that might be of interest. The National Archives don't hire that much, but they do take volunteers. Whether or not that would be interesting to you probably depends on which facility you volunteered for, as their holding vary widely by location.

I'd think about what you would really love to do for a living after graduation. Even if that's years away (maybe after grad school), look around for who's doing it someplace that you can afford to live (maybe you have a friend or relative you could crash with for the summer, if you don't live in that area?) and contact them about an internship. Experience in your field can help you get into grad school (if you decide to go that way) and it'll definitely help you get a job.

The first answer you got was funny, but on the right track. Talk to your local politicians and see if they can't use an intern (not in the Clinton way, of course!)
